A Day in Palm Beach
Hi guys— I know I’ve been a little absent from blogging lately. I took a much needed break to refresh & be more present in my life 🖤 Social media can be mentally exhausting. I now feel ready to get back in the swing of things, though! This post is a tad late, but below I break down a quick day in Palm Beach from my Florida trip last month.
Like I mentioned in my recent swimwear blog post, the Jensen Beach area is more of a small town. So naturally, we wanted to spend the day in a more happening area. We literally had less than 24 hours in Palm Beach, but IMO it was worth it. I actually had never gotten a chance to explore there— it’s a pretty populace area, with tall buildings, tons of shopping and amazing food. It has beautiful architecture as well… a lot of the old buildings gave me Spain/European vibes.
I followed a few of Caitlin Covington’s recommendations from her Palm Beach travel guide (from her blog, Southern Curls & Pearls). She wrote about this French cafe, Café Boulud, so we decided to go for brunch. It was absolutely adorable. Kind of fancy too, which we like. We got the most AMAZING white cosmopolitan with a frozen purple orchid. It was funny because all the waiters had a French accent too— wonder if that’s part of the criteria to work there 🤣 It had this gorgeous patio, full of greenery and plush white couches. So majestic. I want my backyard to look like this one day.
Two given must sees are the Clock Tower, which is right by the entrance to the public beach, and Worth Avenue. The Clock Tower is a historical monument built in remembrance of the pier that was destroyed over time from hurricanes. I love how vintage it looks and the meaning behind it. We spent the majority of our day at the beach, so stopping by this landmark was super easy.
Worth Ave is considered one of the most upscale shopping streets in the whole country! Most definitely in the south. You have to walk down the palm tree lined streets, even if just for the experience. Flowers were growing on the storefront of all the boujee stores, it was beyond gorgeous.
Lastly we went to Echo for dinner, a sushi and asian fusion restaurant. They have a cute patio that we ate outside at. But OMG, the birds there were ruthless… they were begging like dogs! Chirping around by our feet, flying right next to us, landing on the table! They even tried to take a nibble of my shrimp tempura, hahah. They were cute though. You HAVE to get the Palm Beach Roll and then the soufflé for dessert, duh.
Does anyone have an upcoming trip planned? If so, where?!
