To Die for Tie Dye
TIE DYE. I am so ready for spring looks, even though the weather has not always been cooperating. Did I jump the gun with the sandals? It WAS 70 degrees out today in my defense!! Plus rain, lol. But anyways, tie dye is one spring trend I’ve been seeing everywhere and wanting to try myself. I’m lovinnnn’ all these 90’s styles coming back, since I’m a 90’s baby myself!
Due to usually being wired more towards neutrals, tie dye that has every color under the rainbow is really not my vibe. Definitely doesn’t fit my Instagram aesthetic, either. So both pieces I styled are simple, two-toned tie dye. Gotta ease my way back into it. Both are super affordable and from Forever 21! So let’s hop on to it.
First up is a light pink and grey (so faint, it almost looks white) matching pants and crop top. I normally don’t wear pink, but I thought this dusty rose, wide leg set was subtle enough and I wanted to try something different. I love the flowy-ness and the fact that it kind of looks like one cohesive piece. It will be super breezy in the summertime, too!
Next is a periwinkle and white t-shirt. This is SO soft, you guys. I don’t even know what the material is, but it’s extremely soft to the touch and stretchy. Which makes it so easy to tie into a knot. It definitely must have some spandex in it. I paired it with a pair of airy, linen pants and a white cropped jean jacket (new fave, btw— I’m tempted to get another color). Both looks I wore with my favorite Marc Fisher sandals. Which FYI, they came out with a couple new styles this season in the same color and look!! Definitely worth the price considering how often I wear them, if you ask me.
That’s it guys 💘 all direct links are posted below!
