What I Pack In My Carry-On Bag
Traveling can become overwhelming if you don't start off organized. I consider myself an expert packer (having divorced parents will do that for ya!), and thankfully I never get too stressed about it. Unless, of course, I have nothing to wear!
Part of keeping everything in order is keeping necessities easily accessible in your carry-on bag. I share with you all today what I've been keeping in my carry-on lately, specifically for our trip to Jamaica.
- So first is the obvious phone charger and headphones combo. That's pretty self explanatory.
- Gum is second, just in case your ears pop (plus who doesn't want to be minty fresh?!). I prefer Orbit in Peppermint.
- HAND SANITIZER. My favorite is Dr. Bronner's in the lavender scent. It smells so heavenly, plus it's organic.
- Well-Kept Screen Cleansing Towelettes: As you'll soon learn about me, I'm a bit of a germaphobe. I obviously use these for sanitizing my phone (which did you know it's one of the most dirty everyday items!), but it's also ideal for wiping the plane seat down.
- Chapstick!! I carry Fresh's Sugar Lip Treatment with me everywhere.
- Reading material—there's nothing worse than being bored and uncomfortable on a plane ride. I always have the book I'm currently reading and sometimes magazines as well.
- Mario Badescu's Facial Spray is so refreshing to spray periodically throughout the flight, and it makes me feel like I'm keeping moisturized. I love all three scents, but the cucumber one is my first pick.
- A sleep mask for getting some shut eye! I couldn't find my exact faux fur one, but this slip one is the next on my list to try.
- Tarte's Blotting Papers is perfect for blotting any excess oil during a long flight.
- Nars Radiant Concealer in the shade Custard for any touch ups post flight!
- Hand cream— my current obsession is Sol de Janeiro's.
- A pair of sunglasses and sandals for getting off the plane.
I do end up stashing some other goodies in there, like vitamins, a blanket, cameras, a lint roller, etc... I could go on and on. The 12 listed above are the ones I find myself using most frequently while in the air. 🙂
