Ablazed In Blazer Dresses — Modishly Mackenzie

I thought this blog post title was quite creative if I do say so myself 🔥

Blazer dresses have a way of being professional, yet undeniably sexy. You can wear them to formal work settings or special events. You can dress them down with sneakers to make it a casual look or dress them up with heels for everyday office wear (comfortable heels though, I must say). It just so happens I found both of my blazer dresses on PrettyLittleThing!

First up is the gorgeous gray checked blazer dress. I loved this one because it gave a wrap dress like feel. The tie in the front brings a feminine touch, with a sleek metal loop hole. I paired it with my white booties (still on sale, one size left!) and the new bag that I’m OBSESSED with. It’s a clear tote with a white pouch on the inside. It looks exactly like the Staud Shirley bag, such an affordable dupe! Amazon for the win 😏

I pictured the next dress as a monochromatic look. All black, with a hint of shimmer in the accessories. I’ve been wanting to style an outfit with the rhinestone fishnets you’ve been seeing everywhere, and jumped at the chance. 2019 fashion predictions all say fishnets are back, baby! And the rhinestones add a fresh, new twist. Of course I ripped a hole in mine within the first 10 minutes of trying them on 😅 thankfully in a hidden spot. I found mine at Urban Outfitters and they’re 50% off right now. I tied the look all together with some Kendra Scott statement earrings!
