Babydoll Tops
Not sure if y’all heard, but babydoll tops are back IN! It’s a Summer 2020 trend that I’ve seen a lot of bloggers, myself included, participate in.
The reason I love this trend so much is because I find that it’s flattering on the majority of body types. It’s tight up top, and then flows out right below the chest. Different than a peplum top because it flows out much higher up, and it’s a lot less structured! More of an effortless look if you ask me. Another cool thing is it’s not just limited to tops, there are babydoll inspired dresses as well!
I was shopping on Vici Collection when I stumbled upon this knitted, low cut babydoll tank. I immediately gravitated towards it. So, that is what this blog post will be centered around!
I styled the top with a pair of distressed skinny jeans with the frayed bottoms. This light wash is stunning, which I also purchased from Vici. Their jeans are super affordable! This pair was only $52. I wear a size 3 in their denim, which translates to a size 25/2. They’re still fully stocked in all sizes, which is soo rare for Vici!! Hurry while you still can 🙃 I love pairing black and brown together lately, so I wore the tortoise heels I got from Dolce Vita. They’re super comfy too! To complete the look, a wore a woven bag from Mango in this beautiful cognac color.
