Best Of: Jeans — Modishly Mackenzie

Welcome to the second round of ‘best of’! Today, the topic is an item type that should be important to everyone— jeans. I just want to throw out there that I’m a loyal girl through and through when it comes to denim. I stick to what I like and what works for my body type, and will repurchase the same style in every color if I can’t get enough of a certain pair! That’s not to say I haven’t tried other brands and styles over the years that I have loved— I’ve even tried a few new brands lately! This is just what has been in my rotation nonstop for the last couple years, so I feel like they’ve officially made the status of “noteworthy”.

My current obsession is AGOLDE’s 90’s fit. I had been looking for a good boyfriend jean for SO LONG. Every pair I tried on looked like a garbage bag on me— did nothing for my figure. I swear this pair will be flattering on everyone. It’s the perfect loose fit, but they still stay up without a belt. I love the extreme rips, too. They’re so cute cuffed over a few times at the ankles.

Topshop’s Jamie Jeans are one of those styles I have in what seems like every color… the black coated pair you always see me wearing are also Jamie’s! Such a staple style. They’re super affordable ($70-$90) and have every wash under the sun, from dark to light, to black to white. They have distressed finishes and clean cuts, jagged edges and raw hems. You can’t go wrong with these. Topshop’s website has 151 products under this style alone, so options galore!

Another pair I love are the Lovers + Friends Mason Style. They’re formfitting without being too tight, which makes them soo comfortable. I only have one pair as of now, but I wear them so frequently it’s clear I should add to the collection! I can’t wait to get my hands on a jet black pair with slit knees.

Last but not least, Paige. So for one, I should say Paige is my absolute favorite all around denim brand. I think they’re the best designer denim company, in my personal opinion. I have a couple different styles & washes, but I feel confident when I say you can’t go wrong with ANY style! They’re that good.
