The Perfect Holiday Red Lip

I CAN’T BELIEVE THE HOLIDAYS ARE UPON US ALREADY. I swear each year flies by quicker than the last! As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I almost always stick to my signature nudey pink lip. But with the holiday season comes a bold, red lip. Gotta keep it festive.

I’ve always been a mix and match type of girl when it comes to my lipsticks. I like to blend various shades together to find the perfect color. My go to for red lips are the below three products.

Kylie Cosmetics Lip Liner in the shade Kristen. I love Kylie’s lip liner’s, and it’s so convenient that they’re available at Ulta now.

MAC Lipstick in the shade Dubonnet. Ruby Woo is also another really good red shade!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in the color Socialite. The shiniest finish.

I first overline my lips with the lip liner and fill them completely in— only slightly overline though, because since red is such a dark color, and so off from your natural lip, you don’t want to look crazy. Next I layer on a coat of the MAC lipstick. Lastly, I top it with a gloss to bring some dimension!
