Best Of: Boots — Modishly Mackenzie

Hi guys!! I’m really on a roll with my ‘best of’ series lately! With the cooler seasons comin’ in hot (see what I did there 🥵), I feel like there are sooo many more categories needed for ‘best of’s’ than there are for the warmer months. There’s jackets, there’s sweater dresses, there’s booties, plus tonssss more that I don’t want to reveal quite yet, hehe.

So next up is best of BOOTS, more specifically, tall boots. Both heeled and flat. All colors, various styles, diverse materials. Booties is a whole different ball game, so I’ll save that for another post. But due to this being kinda like the best options available type of post, I stuck with more timeless styles. Didn’t want to overwhelm y’all with options either. These are, IMO, the best styles and brands.

First and foremost, I will ALWAYS say that Stuart Weitzman boots are the best boots out there. With that being said, I know they’re extremely pricey… so I linked four different pairs on sale at TJ Maxx! Even with the extreme discount, I also know some may still want more budget friendly options, so I included other brands too. Some of my favorites are Vince Camuto, Sam Edelman, Jessica Simpson and Steve Madden. I frequently shop for boots at Nordstrom and DSW (for any type of shoe really) and occasionally Nasty Gal.

My personal opinion on shoes, and the way I was taught, is it’s much better to invest in a nice pair that will last you years and years, versus buying cheap and having to replace each season. It may not seem like it, but you will actually save money in the long run. They cost more due to long lasting quality. BUT my motto always is, if it’s trendy, go cheap— if it’s timeless, think about long term 🖤 ok, that’s it for my Ted Talk.
