Slither Into Snakeskin
Snakeskin has proven it’s a prominent contender when it comes to animal print. In fact, I would say I’m almost more into snakeskin right now than leopard! Such a close call. I mean, even my new 2019 planner is snakeskin. Which if you guys are planner lovers like me, let me know and I will gladly share the link 😊
I have a couple pieces currently in my rotation, so I styled each completely differently!
The first look features Marc Fisher snakeskin booties— I linked my exact pair and then a few other options on LIKEtoKNOW.it, so be sure to check it out! I styled them with white jeans, a vintage band tee and a charcoal velvet cardigan from Zara (a couple seasons old!). Unfortunately my band tee is sold out 😩probably due to the fact that everyone’s as obsessed with Bohemian Rhapsody as I am. Like really, learning the history of Queen and how interesting of a human being Freddie Mercury was just made me such a fan girl. Don’t worry, I linked some other options though. I wanted this look to be casual, yet edgy, and I feel like it nailed it right on the head! This is hands down my favorite of all my snakeskin outfits. SO comfy, but I still felt really put together.
The next piece is my FAVORITE Zara scarf. This has truly been one of the only scarves I’ve been wearing this season (which is odd, because I’m usually the scarf queen). I wore it with a simple black dress and leather jacket, over the knee boots and a black floppy hat. I’ll take any excuse to accessorize with a hat. This long sleeve dress from Urban Outfitters is surprisingly warm, so no tights are even needed. I bought the dress years ago, so I could not track it down— linked a few back ups!
Nasty Gal has sooo many snakeskin products to choose from— it was honestly hard, lol. #firstworldproblems. But I’m a statement jacket girl through and through. For the last outfit, I rocked a slightly cropped snake print jacket. It has breast pockets with tons of buttons, whether on the pockets, sleeves or just to button up. It gives a patent leather kind of look and feel. I wore all black to keep the look simple and let the jacket shine.
Hope you all enjoyed each look! Plus allll the goodies I linked below. If you follow me on Instagram, I’m sure you saw the exciting news that I was invited into the LIKEtoKNOW.it fam! Make sure to check out my page and follow me if you like my style 😘
P.S.: I’m trying out a middle part, what do you all think?! I’m so not used to it yet. We’ll see how long this lasts. Thanks for reading!
